Chinese, Korean, and Japanese folklores often telling the stories of encounter with the monsters and whatnot. While Southeast Asian folklores usually comprise ghostly and vampire-like beings.
Inugami 犬神
Reading Kaikidan Ekotoba and Edo-period Monsters are truly interesting. Some of them have high possibilities of being true and really existed. Awesome.
